There's nothing like getting fingerprinted for a job that makes you feel like "HUH! Is this work or being charged with a misdemeanor?"
EXACTLY!!!
But often with my work in schools, it feels a little like both.
I teach school and it does feel like both.
We are being required to update our fingerprints every 5 years, now. At least they aren't having to use the 'ink method' anymore. (thank you for computer scanners!) No matter how careful I tried to be I always seemed to get ink on my clothing!
NoiseDesign...
yes, it is who you think it is!
It's about time I joined the crowd, huh???
How are you???
I'm good. Getting ready for our XXXmas party on Saturday and then leaving for another week in Toronto on Sunday.
Wish I could be at the party.
hope Toronto goes OK
I got checked all up and down for my current job, including a basic physical. I asked the doctor what would happen if, say, I couldn't touch my toes like he asked, but he didn't know.
It was weird.
I think Toronto will be fine. At least I finally got them to see the wisdom of flying my engineer in from Los Angeles.
yes, it is who you think it is!
The techy/geeky/fx-folk cabal is growing. More arcane things to eavesdrop on.
Best. Picture. Ever.
Heh, it's Extreme Stuff on My Cat. Without the cat.
But with the cat owner!
oh man. I have a boatload of things to do.
ita, I had to get a physical when I started at the district. AND I have to have my TB test updated every 4 years or something. Which means I have to go to the central office and let them inject me with something then go back and have it read. It makes me twitchy.

I've probably told this story before, but in college this kid showed up to our house party, was extremely obnoxious, and then passed out on the comfy chair at 9:45. So yes, he did get stuff stacked on him.
My only contribution was pointing out where the food coloring was....
