"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Timelies. I spent the weekend getting basically nothing accomplished I wanted to (apart from laundry) and was out sick yesterday feeling like death-warmed-over. I feel closer to fresh death today, so I made it in to work.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I could do that. But that would entail borrowing the company car and driving to downtown Evanston. Maybe I'll just be lazy and get a roast beef sandwich on croissant at the nearby lefty cafe.

We are now having a "meeting" with her in an hour. Coincidentally, crazy!boss is not here today. I'm thinking now maybe it's not a coincidence. Hmmmm....

hip deep in pie

I thought I was craving garlic mashed potatoes on the weekend, but it seems I am craving them from a specific restaurant. Must go there soon.

ION, I am so tired that I am sure I am coming down with something. I mean, I just had a three day weekend, and I slept in everyone of those days. So how can I be this tired?
