one sock monkey one-piece for the boy
Noah has one of those! Well two of them. He has the onesie that is cream with a sock monkey print and he has the brown fleece one piece. SO CUTE.
And he has the blanket too.
Temp? In our house, I keep the daytime temp at 69-70 and we turn the heat off at night and it goes down to 60. But we only have a heater in the living room. Everything else is on space heaters. Stupid crappy floor heating system.
My BFF's dad was always crazy about the temperature. He wouldn't let them turn on the AC, but they would just turn it on when he left for work. Of course, they had to turn it off by 3 or so so that the house would be hot again by the time he got home.
My heating/ac unit is one of those old-fashioned 70's-era wall units that the motels used to have, with the dial that says "Hot/Cold" and is progressively redder or bluer on either side, and a switch for "Fan On/Off" and buttons for "Heat," "Air," and "Blow Only." So, I have no idea what my temperature actually is at any time.
I think 68 to 70 is about right. we might actually turn it as high as 72. Night I have it at 62 - but I have a programmable thermostat that turns on the heat about half an hour before we wake up. We also have an electric blanket - thatis turn off on my side once the bed is warmed up - but matt has up on high.
currently it is 66 degrees . too cold unless I am doing vigorous house cleaning. and I am not.
My thermostat is preprogrammed to go down at night, which is good, but it doesn't click back on early enough in the morning for me. I don't know how to reprogram it though.
Just turned up the heat. and the sun came out. I guess the fog is leaving today
For the first winter ever, my house will have insulation. Still no central heating, but I am happy.
Happy mac day, msbelle!
I have a heater in the middle of my apartment and the thermostat is right across from it, so the other rooms are colder.
When I am not home, I keep it at 56-58. I turn it up to 70 when I get home and leave it there for about 1/2, at which point I either turn it to 60 and get under the covers, or 64 and do something fairly active. In the morning when I get up, I turn it to 70 again while I get ready, and back down to 56-58 before I leave.
