All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh, woke up at 4-something this morning after going to bed at 11:30. tried to go back to sleep but it didn't work so well. Feeling a little shaky.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

playdates get unnecessarily complicated, I agree. Then again, I can't seem to manage to make dates to see my friends either. Which makes me sad, but I have only my own lameness to blame there.

I'm starting to find the stress of always working on the house wearing. We've been painting the kitchen, and right now we're in the no access period. And I want coffee! And I can't hang with eating every meal out anymore!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ew ew ew ew - my first clementines of the season and the first one I peel had wormy things in it. The second one was bug free - hopefully the rest of the box is ok.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ARGH. The water just got turned off in our building. No warning from whoever's having plumbing work done in their building. NOT COOL PEOPLE.

At least I wasn't in the middle of a shower. The laundry that's half done will just have to wait, I guess. And we have hand sanitizer for changing diapers. But still.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The snow has started coming down.

I don't really do playdates. I've never had much luck with them. I may have to bite the bullet, though, since I'm in a new place and don't have many other ways to meet new people.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

brenda -- I thought 'the dog's breakfast" referred to the canine tendency to eat their own vomit, dubiously dead or inedible things, et cetera (white-fonted for the squeamish!).

I'm currently on lunch break from the 8 hour programming class, definitely not a whoo-hoo day.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

After yesterday evening's grim debt-discussion Natter, I sat down this morning with the budget and the three high-interest credit cards we've fucked ourselves over with during the last year, called Working Assets, and managed to juggle everything onto a single card with a 0% interest rate until 1/09 -- the minimum payment isn't high enough for us to eliminate the debt over the next year, but we'll be able to make all the payments, at no interest, and still be able to afford trivial things like food and utilities without having to run up any more card debt. Goodbye, 27.9% card of death.

::feels frabjous::

Yay, JZ!

I need to get out of the house. I have plenty of errands to run. But somehow, I stayed in my pajamas until 12:30.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My apartment is being invaded by ginormous dust bunnies, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it.
