It's certainly easier to pretend to chop up zombies or to dodge fireballs than to actually do either.
Ain't that the truth! Dag.

Well, I need my paycheck, so I won't get much glee out of punching one of my supervisors for mild douchebaggery.
Part of me feels that fiction is yet another example of our culture's increased tolerance of phoniness, whether for the sake of simplicity or out of sheer denial. It's certainly easier to read about other people having marital affairs or watch John McClane destroy helicopters than to actually do either.
OH! this is like madlibs!!
So funny. Zombies! Fiction!
We have GH and RB at home, and I'm rolling my eyes forever at the idea that someone thinks anyone playing those games is under the illusion that they're playing real instruments. I played violin/viola for 15 years, and I suck at the game, but I have a great time playing it.
When someone elsewhere made a comment about GH and RB "cheapening" music, ND replied, "So you're saying that music should be elitist?" We both agree that anything that gets kids (or adults, for that matter) to appreciate music is a good thing.
I've heard that being a krav black belt doesn't help that much with Wii boxing, which must be frustrating.
I'm still trying to figure out if there's some sort of method to Wii boxing, or if you can get the same results just by flailing randomly.
I hear it's flail.
Okay, it's time once again for my office's annual white elephant gift swap. The rules are everyone brings in a wrapped gift (under $20) and draws straws for the order in which you select gifts. You can either take a gift from the table (mystery!) or steal someone else's already unwrapped gift (score!). You can only steal the same gift 3 times.
Anyhoo, I've narrowed down my selections this year to 2 options.
Option 1: Ninja catapult & Avenging Unicorn play set from Archie McPhee, OR
Option 2: Office Space Box of Flair & Cubicle Doorbell from Thinkgeek.
Vote now! Informally!
Oh, my nephew's getting a Wii for Xmas. What are the good games Aunt Sue can get him?
Totally flail. Also? Really not good for a couple to play together. (Or at least that was my experience, when I ended up whapping ND on the shoulder IRL because he had knocked me out on the Wii.)
