Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ooh, I'm so angry right now! On Friday (? Thursday? whatever), I took a box to to the post office with some pants I wanted to return. I used the postage machine to buy the right amount of postage. I stuck the label on the box. I just got the box back with no label on it and an ote that it was "returned for postage." I bought postage! I can't believe I have to pay another six bucks to try to return these fucking pants. This is why I don't like to buy clothes through the mail.
Ginger, yes it is Guy Fawkes day, but I am sadly far from any houses of Parliament.
Tom Scola, Ginger, Nilly, DavidS, Cashmere, Jesse, shrift, sumi, sj, Sue, -t, Trudy Booth and Jars, thank you all for your birthday wishes. I do appreciate it.
Happy CaBil Anarchy Day!
Waves to thread.
And with that, I'm caught up here (several hundred posts behind in bitches).
Okay. That's frustrating. I don't mind so much buying clothes online from places that have a brick-and-mortar store where things are much easier to return.
Which is what happened this week. I bought a pair of Gap Classic jeans that came with the world's longest 28 inch rise or something ridiculous like that. I swear, the waistband could touch the underwire from my bra. So I took them back to the Gap store and returned them yesterday morning. It was all good.
Jessica, what great pictures. Dylan is so adorable!
My coworker reminded me that I have a receipt from the PO, so we'll see. The last time I returned something at the store that I had bought online (Banana Republic), it was a whole song and dance and took forever, so I figured I wouldn't bother this time.
Well, yeah. It is a song and dance at Gap and Gap-affliated stores. But I figure, whatever. it's easier than getting to the PO. But I am lazy.
SUCH cute Buffista babies. My goodness, if I keep ending up ded like this, teaching later today is going to be a problem.
Happy Birthday, CaBil!
