Now tagless for your comfort.

The one here is called Entree Vous--it's attached to the gym I go to so it's pretty damned convenient (and the cost is comparable to other franchises).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

ION, I've found our USB cable for the digital camera and the battery charger. Somehow, they ended up in the box with the hats, scarves and mittens.

This type of thing happens to me even without speed moving.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm finishing up my turkey leftovers, which are quite tasty.

I'm trying to eat up what's in my fridge and freezer so I don't have much to move on Saturday (t minus 2 days and counting) (no, of course I'm not all packed yet).

It's leading to some strange meals, let me tell you.

They way I'm packing is that things that are near each other are getting put in the same box. If that means that a USB cable goes in with my socks (don't ask), then so be it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Awesome. I wish we had one near us. Our friends in Wichita do Dream Dinners and they really like it. They're not cookers, generally, so it's kinda fun for them.

I have a new friend here who wants to get several of us couples together for a cooking event. The idea is that you would each cook up one recipe in large batches, and split it up into portions. Then you exchange. So you make up a huge vat of chili, say, and divide it up into however many families there are. Then you come home with chili and chicken noodle soup and casseroles and whatever everybody else made, and throw them in the freezer. I think it's an awesome idea, but we haven't done it yet.

Go you, Steph, with the packing and moving and life changes and whoo! I wish you lots and lots of energy and patience.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My mom refuses to give up on the cooking even though it tires her out and doesn't know how to cook for less than an army, so I am hoping this will be a good compromise. More portion control and less prep work.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just found out I don't have to work at the bookstore tonight (yay!), so I'm going to head over to the grocery store and pick up some supplies for the week. I've been eating out or at the office cafeteria every day this week, and that's got to stop. Even if I just get some frozen dinners for lunch, that'll save me big bucks. I've also got to start using up the chicken I've had in the freezer for months. I've got some tikki masala sauce from Trader Joe's that I should cook with the chicken.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This should be the icon for ever Evil Overlord post ever made.

If that turns out to be a hypno-toad then the Earth is doomed....
