I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, wow. Want.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have to get braces to correct the bite, or I'll lose teeth.
Dang, Allyson, that sucks. Though not as much as having your jaw broken, I'm guessing.
Having done both, braces are easier. And I didn't even have to have a tooth knocked out (for straw insertion) because my jaw breakage was pre-braces and I had a Lauren Hutton gap back then.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Allyson, braces have changed a lot since you had them at 12. I'm sure they can manage something much less obvious.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Fingers crossed for Grace, here!

Meanwhile, I'm a-coughing up a storm, looks like I'd better dose myself up with cough medicine before leaving the house. And of course, I wouldn't get a cold until it's actually CHILLY outside, just to make it so much more of a fun experience not.

The upside of that? Hot toddies.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Well, TNG/DS9/VOY ignored many of the classic TOS races, such as the Andorians and the Tellarites. The green girls were members of the Orions, a non-Federation race of pirates and slavers. Maybe between TOS and the TNG times they were all convinced that piracy was a bad idea and they all become farmers...?

I'm convinced that the 24th century Federation was so stuffy and boring that the cool exotic races all fled the galaxy to join the gays wherever they'd gone centuries earlier.

Not a surprise.

Though I once read the most depressing fanfic that the reason there were no gays was that the 'gay' gene was erased from the human genome during the Eugenics Wars of the early 21st century (the same wars that created Khan) .....

Now tagless for your comfort.

Is it in the cookie aisle, or the dairy products aisle? Better or worse than the cheesecake filling in a bowl? Than the sara lee cheesecake bites?

They're in the cookie aisle. Better than cheesecake filling in a bowl but not as good as Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites. Still, worth a trip to the store. I've already eaten half the package.

Allyson, good luck with the teeth stuff. I've looked into getting adult orthedonture, too. I had braces for three years when I was 12 and my teeth are croooked again. My orthodontist tried something called 2nd molar replacement where they took out my 12 year molars but allowed my wisdom teeth to come in instead. The result was that I have partially impacted wisdom teeth that I can never have taken out because I need them back there for a bite surface. But they knocked my front teeth out of alignment when they came in.

I've had three reputable dentists tell me that that method was stupid to try on both the upper and lower and that nobody does it anymore. Also that I should sue. But considering I bit the original ortho that did it, I probably wouldn't get any results.

kat, continued health~ma for Grace and resistance~ma for Noah.

That teapot is just...wow. Want one.
