Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Not a surprise.

Though I once read the most depressing fanfic that the reason there were no gays was that the 'gay' gene was erased from the human genome during the Eugenics Wars of the early 21st century (the same wars that created Khan) .....

Now tagless for your comfort.

Is it in the cookie aisle, or the dairy products aisle? Better or worse than the cheesecake filling in a bowl? Than the sara lee cheesecake bites?

They're in the cookie aisle. Better than cheesecake filling in a bowl but not as good as Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites. Still, worth a trip to the store. I've already eaten half the package.

Allyson, good luck with the teeth stuff. I've looked into getting adult orthedonture, too. I had braces for three years when I was 12 and my teeth are croooked again. My orthodontist tried something called 2nd molar replacement where they took out my 12 year molars but allowed my wisdom teeth to come in instead. The result was that I have partially impacted wisdom teeth that I can never have taken out because I need them back there for a bite surface. But they knocked my front teeth out of alignment when they came in.

I've had three reputable dentists tell me that that method was stupid to try on both the upper and lower and that nobody does it anymore. Also that I should sue. But considering I bit the original ortho that did it, I probably wouldn't get any results.

kat, continued health~ma for Grace and resistance~ma for Noah.

That teapot is just...wow. Want one.

Allyson, my neighbor girl T's new braces are barely noticeable, and she has a full set. I was surprised. Braces have changed a lot since the days of metal mouth.

Noah is currently beating the crap out of this gym-thing. He can really whale (wail?) on it. He decided that was more fun than me making faces at him...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wale?

There was a little bit of a slapfight on my train this morning. At least it didn't go out of service like my train yesterday where someone apparently passed out and cut her head was bleeding everywhere. Good times.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There was a little bit of a slapfight on my train this morning.

What was the issue?

There was almost a slap fight on a bus I was on a few days ago. A woman in a walker took issue with an older woman (55-60-ish?) who was sitting in the elderly/handicapped seating. The older woman felt that it was OK for her to be there, but I couldn't hear what she was saying.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

There was a kid on my train last night doing some old school poppin' moves to some Herbie Hancock. Awesome.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Gee, my bus last night just had old, smelly men. And young obnoxious men.

"Stop fucking pushing," per usual. They don't generally come to actual blows, though!

I am not impressed with this whole "being awake" business.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Nora, was it you who mentioned recently buying corduroys at Lane Bryant? Because I bought some yesterday, and I haven't had a pair of pants that make my ass look this good in a LONG time.
