In college I always thought that a bakery that delivered would be a great business.

hip deep in pie

Now I want to do it, just to make Withnail and Pie.

There is totally some kind of pie theme in the zeitgeist. And The Pie Hole is totally the perfect pie shop name.

The cupcake thing never really made it here. There is one salon/gallery/cafe that makes them and that's it.

In some kind of Nor'easter related madness, I totally went to town on the kitchen today. Cleaned the fridge, tried moving the stove and the fridge and then moved them back, dusted swept, washed the little rug. Now, I'm too lazy to put it all back together.

And the rest of the house...can be declared a disaster area with or without the storm, which seems to be tracking further west now, yay!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We get cupcakes delivered to work all the time... but not for long, because there's apparently a Crumbs opening up around the corner. We'll see if they're worthy.

I just went over to the movie theater to see Gone Baby Gone, and it was sold out! For the rest of the day! I guess I'll go earlier tomorrow.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

A movie theater that served pie would be the best thing ever.

I also have wasted the day. Starting with oversleeping, then rushing to the mechanic to get my brake lights fixed, which I thought would be, oh, fifteen minutes, turned out it was not simply the light or the fuse but the brake switch assembly which is inside the steering column WTF and I was there until 1pm, then I did a couple "quick" stops to pick up things and drugs and got home at 3:30, and then oops forgot to pay the rent! and I had to drive to the post office that picks up late, and now I'm back and exhausted mainly from eating nothing but junk food in my car all day. And now I want to nap instead of doing the kazillion things I had planned to get done. Crap.

Kat, they're right. Nobody says, "I'm so strong, all this shit is as nothing to me!" Strong doesn't feel strong, strong is just keeping on going when you want to quit and lie down forever. You say it's just that you have to because your family needs you, but there are plenty of people who just crumble under the weight of what's needed from them.

I updated my resume and sent it to Playboy! Go team.

I'd celebrate, but now I have to go to a meeting.
