I never want to be top dog with regard to responsibility and expectations.
That's why I think that being my own boss would be great. My problem is that I'm too shy and awkward for the business part. I'd need a partner to gladhand and schmooze.
OMG, my friend and I were talking about my new job this morning, and I said, "Well it's not my own pie shop or movie theatre..." And she said, "A movie theatre that serves pie!!!!" Then I came back with, "A theme pie for the movie of the week!" Now if I just had the money and wherewithal to make it so.
oh. not for me as i am not a pie-enthsiast. but culturally, pies are making a resurgence.
sara, I share your wasted day. I just realized I had a package to pick-up at the PO and the slip said today was the last day. D'OH!
I did just have a burst of energy and straightened two rooms. AND the wheelchair got picked up, so that is a nice thing.
But today has been mostly tv, videos, scrabulous, and now online bill paying.

There is totally some kind of pie theme in the zeitgeist. And The Pie Hole is totally the perfect pie shop name.
The cupcake thing never really made it here. There is one salon/gallery/cafe that makes them and that's it.
In some kind of Nor'easter related madness, I totally went to town on the kitchen today. Cleaned the fridge, tried moving the stove and the fridge and then moved them back, dusted swept, washed the little rug. Now, I'm too lazy to put it all back together.
And the rest of the house...can be declared a disaster area with or without the storm, which seems to be tracking further west now, yay!
