My lack of that level of dedication, moreso than my physical shortcomings, is why I'm mediocre at most things.
You see lack of dedication and shortcomings, I see wacko lady driven beyond good sense.
I would love to be as crazy as that lady, which is my problem.
THe only thing I'll ever be at an elite level at is laziness, and fortunately, you don't have to do anything to achieve that. In fact, the less you do the better.
I get the differnece between doing the hard thing because you want to and doing the hard thing because you have to. It's still doing the hard thing, either way.

I would also like to be as crazy as that lady. About something. I keep trying things hoping I will find the right trigger for such dedication. Maybe it will be painting my house, who knows?
I'm 100% fine with not being elite in anything. Much less anything athletic. I look at my CEO who is often in three different states over the course of a week, and I just know that I could never handle that kind of life, and I'm totally fine with that!
