I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know theoretically getting more done would make the time go faster, but I just have no interest in any of the things I have on my plate.

We should trade plates. That always makes things more interesting.

Actually, speaking of plates, I have one of those random food questions that we cover every so often.

Do you like to mix food, or do you eat all your items separately? I am a big fan of combining meat and vegetables in one bite, or meat and potatoes, or vegetables and rice, whatever is on my plate. My husband, not really a mixer.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Do you like to mix food, or do you eat all your items separately?

Some foods I mix, some make me gag when mixed. It depends. But I think I mix more often than not.

If I have mashed potatoes, it's an almost sure bet that I'll mix *something* with them. Ideally, corn.

Being 100 meters from a Celine Dion concert would probably have that covered.

She's now using The Who's hand-me-down sound systems?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I form the mashed potatoes into a volcano, with corn at the base representing the villagers. Then, the gravy eruption comes....

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Now you have me wanting a Bird's Nest (mashed potatoes with peas in the middle - gravy optional). Mmmmm.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Do you like to mix food, or do you eat all your items separately?

I'm not a mixer. Unless the food comes already mixed, like in salad form. As a kid, I used to eat the things I liked least first because I wanted to save the yummy thing for last, to get me through the yuck. So I would not mix, eat by category from least liked to most. I'm more flexible about eating patterns by now.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh, Robin! I'm sorry. NOT what you want to be dealing with when you still have the new house smell going! (or, ever, really, but especially at the get-go.)

Hmm, my craving for seaweed salad lasted for exactly one bite of same. Guess it's a good thing I'm not overpoweringly hungry today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Totally a mixer.

Thanks for the Craig Kilborn info. I told my friend the Buffistas would know...

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Do you like to mix food, or do you eat all your items separately?

No mixing! I even used to look askance at things like chili or curry. Casseroles/hot dish are still on the no-fly list for me.

However, I love having a lot of different things on my plate - I just eat them separately.
