Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

A friend's son and others were ticketed for a curfew violation a couple weekends ago. They'd gone to a movie at the mall after performing in a school concert so they were all in black pants and white shirts. The officer told them that the identical colors they were wearing were suspicious and so he ticketed them at 10:03 while they were waiting for the parent on duty to come pick them up. It's a $250 fine.

I thought, "A gang of mormons?"

I was going to comment on the school thing again but then I realized I would add a whole bunch of new hedging and my earlier comments already had enough hedging for a victorian garden maze.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Enough hedging for a very large hedgehog?

Enough hedging for a very large hedgehog?

Yes, unless it is an African hedgehog, or a radioactive mutant hedgehog. I'd really need to know more about the hedgehog for a definitive answer.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How much hedge can a Gudanov hedge if a Gudanov hedges the hedges he hedged?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought, "A gang of mormons?"

Heh.

Yahoo! headline:

Celine Dion steps back into pop world

For the love of all that's actually music, make her step back out! Out!

The hedgehog's mass would be a random variable with a chi-square distribution.

Gawd, I looked at Wikepedia for chi-saquare distribution - I've forgotten almost all that stuff. (Had 2 semesters Probability and Statistics in '85-'86.)

Oh Robin! At least it was decidedly not your fault. My dad destroyed their last water heater. See, he has a habit of slapping industrial magnets to it (I don't really know why. Convenient location as it is next to his workbench in the garage, I guess. But it doesn't explain the presence of the magnets.) Anyway, he was doing something and managed to knock one of them off. It sheared off the output spigot at the base. Completely. No way to turn it off. Spraying all over the garage.

He had to back the cars out and sweep the water out as it sprayed because the garage floor isn't really built as a drainage lot.

Despite the mess and expense, my mom laughed for a long time at that one.

Sara, i'm so excited that it's now only 4 days!

I've been so focused on getting through today that when I saw that, I was like whoasoon. Whee!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Celine Dion steps back into pop world

Hasn't she been performing nightly in Vegas for like three years? I didn't realize that counted as leaving.
