Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

In due modesty--I just don't have the imagination to work out how to give up.

Just lay around and bitch?

But then what?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just lay around and bitch?

Well, this bit I have wrapped up, even though I do keep practicing it. It's step #3 that escapes me entirely.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ita, I am sorry. I keep hoping they find something.

My sister in the Navy is in town . She is between posting - she has fun when people ask her where she lives - she tells them that she is homeless. So this weekend is family fun. and it will be. not sure what it all entails yet.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's step #3 that escapes me entirely.
World domination?

Go mug someone?

(not that that's giving up, but its "desperate" and you'd get to kick some ass)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's step #3 that escapes me entirely.

Profit!

Why didn't I give up on ER when I said? This week there's a woman who's walked in with a splitting headache, who's told she looks comfortable, who says she has a high tolerance for pain, and is given a neuro exam and she's told she has trigger points in her neck and is told to take ibuprofen and there's no way I can walk away now, is there? And no matter how it turns out, I can't not take it personally.

::sigh::

Yeah, turns out she was having psych problems and was acting out and later attempts to kill herself. Yay?

Are you serious? So did you want to punch out the tv? I would.

I had to take a long ass break from watching shows or movies where a parent died of cancer or someone was being taken off life support, and I still can't watch anything in which short term memory loss is played for laughs.
