"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

There's no point in asking anyone to guess this. I think it should just be looked at and admired.

Rio:

The bagel thing fits in with my larger theory about white people and muffins. I don't have time to go into detail right now, but basically the thing is: White people just want to eat muffins 24/7, but they are ashamed of this fact, so they take totally good yummy foods like bagels and coffee and ice cream and turn it all into muffins. Hence stuff like the blueberry bagel. The caramel latte. The chunky chocolate-almond-caramel-fudge ice cream. JUST EAT A FRELLING MUFFIN, WHITEY! That is what I say.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Robin we need a clue!

ETA: I do think Rio's quote is probably the best COMM ever.

Punishingly Intricate

I do think Rio's quote is probably the best COMM ever.

Seriously! I almost brought it up in the breakroom here today because my co-worker picked out a bagel and we couldn't figure out what kind it was. He said it smelled like it was sprinkled with grapenuts. But I figured they wouldn't really understand.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Also, we have results from Teddy's blood work. It's not quite where it was 24 hours after the first transplant, but it's much better than it was a couple of days ago.

We also know what caused the first kidney to fail. It wasn't a blood clot. His aorta had calcified, and a piece of calcium broke off.

Meanwhile, he's going to have blood work done tomorrow. But I'll be in Philadelphia until Wednesday (subject to change based on circumstances), so I won't be giving much updating until at least then.

"What is A Suzi?"

So is "then Wine came out Suzi's nose" the new "Nutty vs. cheetah"?

Glad to hear the blood work is looking better.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm glad to hear Teddy's improving, and that the calcium bomb didn't do anything scarier than it did. I'll keep the vibes going as long as he needs them.
