crowns with root canals or replacement crowns?

And which teeth? Molars are more expensive than front teeth.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm hoping maybe it was slightly on purpose.

So... how much should I bank for at worst, 4 crowns? Insurance is claiming at around $2.2K but I can barely make sense of their statements and the prep-work started this year.

I had two molars done about 7 years ago. No root canals and they were $700 a pop, Canadian. I think they were supposed to cost more, but I knew my dentist from High School geekery and he didn't charge me extra for some of the gum reshaping he had to do.

shrift, I was told it's totally a good idea to send an email thanks and follow it up with a written one. That way the snailmail one arrives a day or two later and they remember you better for it.

With the Chicago postal system? I think it might arrive in a week if I'm lucky.

Brand new crowns. The whole buildup has already been done and paid for. I think I avoided root canals. Or I already paid for it. I have normal looking rebuilt teeth that can chew but don't have long term potential. Possible implant for one if it goes horribly wrong, which I'm suspecting given it feels funky. My insurance covers 50% of one crown every 18 months, and the insurance negotiated rate the rest of the time. Which is cheaper than the dentist's supposed rates, but hell. People, this is why you shouldn't avoid a dentist for a decade no matter yourgoddamn stupid neuroses (I'm so my mother's daughter. She did the same stupid thing.)

eta: molars, going insurance rate here of $630 a pop. I think. Insurance statements confuse the fuck out of me.

gum reshaping

The scariest word combination in the english language. Unless you are writing about a bubblegum sculpture that needs repair. Then it's okay.

That's how I got my two crowns.

I was just at the Dentist on Monday, and they think I have something wrong with my bite, and want to recontour some of my teeth to make it more even. I'm not looking forward to it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got my root canal(s) and crown from a bad dentist in my youth. The breaking teeth I'm pretty sure I got from my parents.

That said, I'm due to go to the dentist, but between Halloween candy and cough drops, I think I have to wait a few weeks!
