Una, if I remember correctly, one of the women called him doc or alluded to him being a doctor while in the store. Or, I could be making that part up.

It looks like I'm not going to be able to make the watch and post this week. I have a carol sing and potluck at my church. The potluck I could (and have) miss, but there is no way I'm going to miss a chance to sing Lo, How a Rose, with all four parts represented.

On the positive side, I get a new toaster! I had spoken long ago to some friends about Firefly. Recently, a nephew visited with a lot of DVDs, including Firefly. Since they had heard of it (from me!), they decided to watch that. After watching, they decided that the Firefly DVDs were not going home with the nephew after all, and now Serenity has been purchased as a Christmas present from one spouse to the other. They seem nearly as enthusiastic as I was when I first saw it, so yeah!!

I can go either way about this Wednesday. I should have arrived at my parents' house by then and am planning on bringing Firefly with me anyway.

I can be here tomorrow, but I'm all for doing the watch and post when the most people can be here. Tomorrow is the 19th... will a lot of you be on the road, or otherwise engaged in holiday events? And then next Wednesday is the 26th, which I'm thinking might be another travel day for a lot of people. And then the following Wednesday is January 2nd, which again might be a travel day as people wake up from their New Year's celebrations and crawl out from under the table and lurch their way home (or is that just me?) .... so are we going to take a three-week break?

Sounds like we only have 3 or 4 folks. IS that enough for a WnP quorum? Either way, I'm using it as an excuse to jet from work in about an hour.

I just stopped by to see if we had any kind of group consensus on tonight, but it looks as though we haven't come to a decision yet. Should we wait until we can get a larger group together? Should we pick a time to make a definitive decision? Say, by 9:45?
