No, I don't think a tree really was ignited, it just looked like it because of all the smoke. They wanted the set to look like it had an early morning fog hovering over it, but they got a little too enthusiastic.

I want to like Pushing Daisies, but I just can't get into it. I like the characters a lot. The plots and writing, not so much.
