The Expanse s6e6 had a nice Firefly style crew-gathered-at-the-dining-table scene.
Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

On YouTube is a film student who five months ago was convinced to watch and react to Firefly and Serenity. It appears she hit every major emotional indicator including "Why did they cancel this???"
