Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

good name for it. Also annoyed at what the ads do to her too. She actually commented on it at the POTC-3 press junket. How the Euro posters for King Arthur showed her in her natural state, but the American posters turned her into a C cup.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Well I wouldn't call what they did a C-cup. It was really more of just a respectable A, but it is what it is.

um, I'll defer to a woman to determine cup size. Either way, it was a sizeable difference. Here is an article with the before and after shots of that poster: [link]

Occasionally Iā€™m callous and strange

Whoa, just noticed in that link omnis posted above, there's a link to an IMDB article including a blurb about Britney Spears appearing on BtVS. Was she initially slotted for Glory?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Was she initially slotted for Glory?

i'm pretty sure they were thinking about asking her to play April, Warren's robot girl.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

BigDuluth, sorry to disappear. I'll be in Newport News/Yorktown, and then in Charlottesville.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Cool, good times in Charlottesville. Anyways so last I counted (possibly correctly!) we had 3 for WNP tomorrow and 3 or 4 against. I could honestly go either way. Thoughts?

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.ā€ ā€“ The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I honestly don't know. It's like herding cats... every time we try to talk about it, we get a few votes, and then someone says "hey look, something shiny!" and we all go scampering off distracted in another direction, and we never do reach a consensus.

My feeling is that if we have an equal number of people who can't make it, why don't we hold off for a week until we can all participate? But I'm willing to be outvoted.

Eh it makes sense M. I'm all for waiting until next week. I'd like to get a big showing again.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I don't remember if I mentioned it already and I'm too lazy to check, but AnotherAlaskan can't make it tomorrow. It seems like there are enough people who can't make it that I agree that we should wait. This is made easier by this being probably my least favorite ep, although I am kinda looking forward to Summer dancing and to the interrogations.
