Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
yay! [clappy hands]
Yet another lovely evening with y'all, watching a marvelous show.
And somewhere in an alternate universe, there are people craving shrimp without knowing what they're missing, while watching a scintillating Season Eight.
I want to live in that universe with you guys!
It's the universe where one of us really did win the lottery, and so Buffista Island is where we live there.
Coincidentally, I was listening to Fresh Air: Weekend in the car and Teri was interviewing the guy who wrote "The Elegant Universe" and they were talking about the various theories of the "Multiverse".
So, somewhere there is a Buffista Island!
Ooh I heard that interview. Fascinating stuff.
Does anyone have a downloadable copy of "'Firefly' Reunion: Lunch with Joss, Nathan, Alan and Ron" Fromthe Blu-Ray discs?
I fear it may be years before we get Blu-Ray, and then Firefly on Blu-Ray.
I love that save: "Big Damn Heros" hells yeah you are! And Jayne so insanely happy dangling from the hold with Vera (was that Vera? tough to tell from that angle)
"You're on my crew. Why we still talkin' 'bout this?"
I still wish they hadn't gone back on that for the movie.
I can see a host of reasons for a falling out between Objects in Space and Serenity (the motion picture), especially if Mal was using River to help out with robberies. I had a much harder time with super-stealthy!Simon from River's rescue scene. I can almost fit it in with the fakeout in Serenity (the pilot) where Simon looks initially quite sinister, but not quite.
