Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Compassionately intolerant

I do the fingers thing, but my laugh of evil cannot be taken seriously.

We are the evil team of evil. Each does her part!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I am chuckling evil-ly even as we speaktype.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

who cut's Mal's hair? I was just rewatching the episode from Castle where Ryan (or Espinoza?) quips that Castle can't be a cop because his haircut is too expensive. Well, Mal's haircut looks remarkably similar, doesn't it? I'm not exactly a professional stylist, but it doesn't seem like something that would be easy for him to maintain himself and he never looks shaggy throughout the series. Jayne, OTOH, looks like he could easily do his own trims with a shearer. Zoe certainly lovingly grooms Wash. Would Simon trust River to trim his hair or just wait for a visit to an outer planet and then seek out the cleanest looking barber shop there? Ladies and Book luck out in not requiring regular trims.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ladies and Book luck out in not requiring regular trims.

Kaylee actually has a very flattering cut that she probably couldn't maintain herself. Inara's hair requires some maintenance, too, but I imagine Inara can do her own hair, and I always thought she did Kaylee's too, based largely on the scene in Train Job where she's lovingly fixing it when Kaylee's supposed to be working. Simon and Mal... I'm going with "highly advanced FlowBee".

plus Inara has regular visits on developed worlds where she could get her hair done quite easily, not having warrants out for her arrest or anything. I also figure she grooms Kaylee, they have that kind of affection. It's the future! They live in a space ship! I can hand-wavey the sci fi flowbee ;P

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Today's imdb poll question is

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Quick update from ICon (the Israeli SF/F convention): Kaylee was chosen as the sexiest character in sci-fi.

Way past 7 of 9.

And Faith.

And Liv Tyler in those movies.

I approve my peoples' taste.
