Like the kid in Bushwacked, they set aside "survivors" and make them watch the torture and destruction until those people become like them. Tho i would expect with those kind of base instincts that they might occasionally rape their own kind and end up with reaver babies. i would suspect the rate of reaver infant mortality to be very high, but it doesn't take many to be super destructive. Ew, plus with all that radiation they'd prolly have mutant reaver babies. nothing pleasant comes of this train of thought.

At Daniel's nephew's wedding, there was a red-headed woman who looked a heck of a lot like Christina Hendricks, and wore a dress that was about the same style (only in brown satin) that Saffron wore in Our Mrs. Reynolds.

A friend of mine just emailed me about a show he just discovered on Netflix called Firefly. He thinks it's wonderful. Anybody heard of it?
Hee.
Did you rec it for him on Netflix and he doesn't remember that?
I've been telling him about Firefly since it was born. He's like, yeah, yeah, whatever, I don't like your shows.
Now he's flipping over Firefly, and Leverage! Hello, my shows.
I'm watching an episode of Seaquest DSV about an undersea colony called Miranda where a bunch of people go mad after a scientist tries to make everyone happy by beaming thoughts of harmony and goodwill directly into their minds.
Oh my gosh, how did I not catch that connection? I love seaQuest!
It's probably because I really hated that episode and tried to block it from memory.
It's as good as I remember but it definitely has its unintentionally laughable moments. I tried season one and got bored so I skipped to season two and the Deluise brothers are what season one was missing. Their dad's guest appearance is particularly wonderful.
