This must be what going mad feels like.

Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I watched it, and it was edited severely. For instance, at the beginning when Mal took the group in to do to the payroll robbery, it cut out the entire section where River points out the would-be hero, her warning of Reavers coming, the townsman begging for help... it goes right from them taking the money in the vault to them in the runabout on the way back to Serenity being chased by the Reavers.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I can't believe the universe is still finding new ways to abuse the fireflyverse.

What's next? "Serenity as My Eight Year Old Son Edited into a Fanvideo of 15 Minutes, Directly from YouTube, will be broadcast tonight"?

Well, they do solve the mystery of Miranda.

I mean, to me it makes more sense than professional wrestling on SciFi.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Don't you mean Syfy?

Which just seems like twee slang for a venereal disease.

I hate the new name, so I refuse to use it.

(Also, I didn't know if they've had wrestling since the rebranding.)

And yes, there is definitely a cream treatment for SyFy.

Given how horrible their movies are, I'm not sure a topical cream will cut it.

"SS DoomTrooper" alone might warrant a regimen of injections into the stomach for ten days or so.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, wrestling isn't going anywhere. It pays for the stuff we actually like.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What's the stuff we actually like, again?
