I did a screen cap of the closer shot:
Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
sigh
You see, even with that big, lovely white arrow of yours, and the numerous times I've watched Firefly and Out of Gas, I still can't for the life of me figure out that catalyzer, or what a catalyzer is, or what does it do.
It could be just me, and I love the style, but - you've seen one steampunk object, you've seen 'em all.
Somebody have a shot of the catalyzer from Out of Gas? Or Ariel, when they found one in the junkyard and discarded it as not relevant to their current interest?
The youtube clip also featured music with a definite Greg Edmonson twang.
Heh.
I can just hear Nathan's pitch for including all these elements...unless, of course, the Castle folks are diehard Browncoats themselves.
I did a screen cap of the closer shot:
I can't even see it with the big arrow. It just looks like a blob. However, I appreciate the inclusion of the Firefly thing, even if it was blobby.
The Edmonson twangy music warmed my heart. My spacey-breaky heart.
Like the others, I still can't really see it. It was bigger in my memory, but my memory is notoriously faulty on such things. Regardless, I am also with the others in the love of the Easter egg, whether I can see it or not.
::Sigh::
That's my girl...that's my good girl.
Damn. I love that show. It's so nice to have my captain back, even if it's only sort of.
bonny, in addition to the twirly gun and the swirly coat (and don't you know Nathan was loving the heck out of showing off those skills again!), it was the twang (there were two!) that set that piece for me, even before the dialog.
Seems Serenity was on SyFy tonight. Caught the last 30 minutes, just as they play the message on Miranda. A WnP opportunity missed.
I am such a dork. I just worked out that wikipedia has a brief entry for Ita Moon. Of course it does. It's wikipedia. I just hadn't thought about Out of Gas for a while.
Are you tempted to edit the capital I?
