I think I have to kill Daniel. We rewatched the Train Job and Shindig tonight, and now for some reason, he is describing an episode of the Muppet Show featuring the cast of Firefly. Miss Piggy keeps trying to upstage Inara. Link Heartthrob orders Wash around. Drs. Honeydew and Tam working on an experiment together, while River and Beaker have a conversation together in fluent Beakerspeak. Fozzie attempts a serious Newsbear Report on what it's like to be on a hit sci-fi show in its seventh season. Sam the Eagle sings the Ballad of Jayne because of its heroic values. The best moment, though, is the end when the Firefly cast have to leave early to get to a taping, and there are still a few minutes left, and Kermit asks what are they gonna do for the rest of the Muppet Show - and Waldorf and Stadtler start singing the Ballad of Serenity, gradually joined by groups of other muppets....
I don't know whether to kill him or kiss him.
Daniel's idea is like Hanukkah to me. And I love Hanukkah, with fiery passion.
Definitely kiss him. It sounds fabulously cracky to me.
Kiss him! Kiss him! I don't know the last time I saw a man so deserving!

This is all pure, unadulterated genius.
The thing is? I had the whole episode just explode in my head, and the scenes kept coming fast and furious as I was telling Andi.
The odd thing is that some bits have the characters interacting with the Muppets, and others have the actors.
Brain? Scary.
I think it all started when I sat down after viewing Shindig and idly started singing the Ballad of Serenity in Kermit's voice.
They should film that and show it every Christmas.
Now it's exploding in my brain.
