It's a gorgeous cunning hat. We just watched "Message" with the commentary, pointing out that in some scenes Jayne's hat is still strewn with straw, and in others, he isn't.

While talking with the apprentice, he kinda stops me, and says, "That hat really reminds me of Firefly" "Why yes, it is a cunning hat". Then we had a fandom moment of Firefly/Serenity where I showed him the screen saver of Movie pictures, my iPhone wallpaper, etc. Now if we can get him to be proactive in his duties, I'll be really happy.

Backing up to the cunning hat and the cunning omnis in it, I didn't mean that there was anything wrong with it being crocheted. I just hadn't see crocheted ones before.
