I will do my level best. I swear!
Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
aw. Sad that it was a no show... but happy that I could WnP for OiS! There is a 50-50 chance next week I can do it.

According to Variety, Universal and Mary Parent have parted with each other. Mary was one of the reasons Serenity got made, and arguably the reason. She's going to MGM.
I saw that, Kevin. My first thought? Now there really is not a chance in hell at a sequel. Not that there was one.
Sorry guys, I track of time last night. I'm glad maybe more people can make it next week.
I saw that, Kevin. My first thought? Now there really is not a chance in hell at a sequel. Not that there was one.
Well, there isn't. That's part of the reason I ditched all the Serenity websites. Also, Joss always said he would spill the beans on Book's backstory when there was no chance of a continuation - and, well, he's doing a Book comic now. Plus the fact Mary left U', and U are the ones with the rights.
I kinda daren't post online about it though. I really need to tell the Goners people that is dead when I can work up the words, they kinda deserve to know. I feel bad for starting that community now.
So you think that Goners is a dead thing too? Was that a Mary Parent deal as well?
Yeah, Mary bought it. Joss didn't neg a fee for Serenity before he wrote it (his agent must love him), when Serenity was due out in theaters U bought the Goners script for a million or two, can't remember exactly. It made me laugh actually in Edinburgh during the 2005 premeire thing - this CRAZY fan accused Adam and Joss of selling out with the movie. Adam stood on stage and actually talked about his salary (I'm sure UIP loved that), pointing out he'd made less doing the movie than he would of acting on the series. That movie is a labour of love, which is kinda rare for a mainstream Hollywood action film I think.
Syfyportal is giving away 10 copies of the Scifi Classic movie, "Sands of Oblivion" that stars Morena Baccarin and Adam Baldwin.
It's not just a dvd of what we saw on Sciffy - it's the Director's Cut.
And it is very much a "Sciffy Classic" film - if you know what I mean.
FYI: it's available on Netflix.
