The only (unpleasant) answer I came up with in order to do it on a Wednesday would be to break the movie into two parts. I haven't looked at the movie yet... is there a logical breaking point somewhere around the middle, so that we could do half of it one week, and half of it the next?
Firefly 5: That's my girl... That's my good girl.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe.
oo that has a certain amount of appeal. Extends the WnP another week!
Ok so is there something else this group would want to WnP about once we've finished though? Not something I like to think about, but want to find something to fill a gap.
I know. I'm going to be hurting, because we'll be running out of Firefly on Wednesdays and new Supernaturals on Thursdays (I do the WnPs for those as well) at about the same time. I may go into withdrawal
with the writers strike over, can we order up a new season?
Part of me wants to start over once we finish the BDM. Perhaps on a different night. But I suppose starting over right away would be too much, right?
Works for me, omnis. I want mooooorrrreeeee.
A bit much for right now lib_kitty. But it shouldn't cease altogether. Can anyone suggest anything for the interim?
Well, you'd have to find something that a group of people all watch, or everyone all has on DVD. So you can probably assume everyone here has Buffy and Angel, just like we have Firefly, since this board was founded around a love of the Whedonverse. After that, the interest kind of extends in many directions into the fantasy-verses. Personally, I have all of Farscape, but I don't know how many other people do. I only have bits and pieces of X-Files. There are people here who are rabid about Dr. Who and Torchwood. If you hang out in the Boxed Set thread, you can see people who are following a lot of the more current TV shows. Maybe someone over there would have more helpful suggestions than I can offer. Sorry.
Here's an idea. What if watch them in order of airing, on the air dates. Granted, it wouldn't start till after summer. But an idea. Fill in the weeks where nothing was aired with the unaired episodes.
