Considering Joss originally wrote the part of Badger intending to do it himself, I'd still be curious to see how that would have turned out. But I do love Mark Shepard in the part.
Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

One thing I always appreciated is that you can count down to Inara's lockdown, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and it's in synch with reality. You rarely see that in a tv show.
