I can't believe there isn't one among this crew who wasn't on board the first go-round, when Tim came by to tell us he'd named a moon after our own ita. But then he was off-set when they filmed the scene and the actor mispronounced it. Still. ita moon!
Also, no point in prepping more than one suit--it takes up so much time and effort getting into one and getting it sealed before you hit the air valve, you couldn't make the change from one suit to another fast enough to make it on one breath.

We're still waiting for him to kill off a character named after Cindy's husband. He was gonna do it, then Firefly was cancelled. Wonderfalls just wasn't the right venue, but he promised to do it on The Inside and that got cancelled, too. He thought about it when he was working on Standoff, but he got the chance to push Drive, and missed that opportunity too. Drive wasn't on air long enough to do it, so we're still waiting.
Yeah they were brilliant enough to drop the compression coil bit early on if I remember. Can't remember where
I think it was in the original pilot - the tet-a-tet that led to Mal's "...and where a shiny hat" rant.

Migraine's mostly gone. Whoot! That was a doozy. The pain wasn't too bad, but all sorts of weird and freaky effects. I'm sorry I missed posting in person, but having AnotherAlaskan keeping me company and typing for me was a great substitute.
Anyway, I had checked before, and the part mentioned in the pilot was a different part than the one that died in this ep, although I think someone mentioned that this part might be related to that one (like, a part within a part or something).
