Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Speaking of Santa delivering, etc. Dunno if any of you read this in Wired, or heard it on NPR Weekend Edition, but it very funny, and possibly something to tell the young ones when they start to disbelieve. The Yule Log Channel really does work great!.

Pun intended?

Yay, glad S is feeling better. I was wearing inside pants until about 20 minutes ago, when I finally showered. My sister is now in the shower, and when she is done, we and the BIL will head over to the parents' house for Trader Joe's appetizers and presents.

It used to be Christmas Eve dinner and presents, adn the only thing we did on Christmas Day was go to church. But now that none of us live at home my mother has desperately thrown tradition to the wind and insisted on new traditions, to stretch the holiday out to two days, by making Christmas Eve dinner random appetizers from Trader Joes (?!?) and then making a real dinner on Christmas Day. Um, riiiiight. It annoys, because my sister and I have a tradition of movie-watching on Christmas Day. Her whole dinner plan gets in the way of our timing. Harumph.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm going in to work in a couple hours but I've got all my presents wrapped and the prep cooking for tomorrow done. We used to watch home movies on Christmas eve but now we don't get together until Christmas day.

I'm so glad S is feeling better! Yeah!!

I think Buffistas should take all the credit for our ~ma. Yeah, there are doctors and all of the work of you and S, but really, it's the Buffistas.

ION, I have the afternoon off today, AIFG. And I didn't take leave. And they told us about it a week ago, not this afternoon. And we didn't have to leave anyone behind to keep the library open, because the library is CLOSED. Happy now.

This all might not seem like a big deal to some of you, but it's the first time it's happened in my nearly 8 years of working for the state. Right now, I love my governor. Yeah!!!!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My mother is filling out an eharmony profile for me. I told her to stop. She says it's fun. She keeps asking me things like "Are you quarrelsome?" (She started laughing at "Do you have unique ways of expressing yourself?" I'd started answering "42" to all her questions at that point.)

Our wings are not tired

NooooooOOooooo. But... But.... Hybrid!! :: sigh ::

This is from way earlier. Sadly fine German engineering won out over Hybrid technology. The good news is that I did purchase the model that is the last year they made the C230 with the supercharged I4 engine instead of the V6, so I get almost the same power as the V6, but I will still see just over 30 MPG in the car, which is the same as why I had in the Escape.
