Stop that right now! I can hear the smacking!

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thanks so much, megan. Yeah, we're at the california pacific medical center on Buchanan. We're okay for now, but I'll let you know if we need anything.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm glad I never heard anything about Bjorns causing hip displacement, because AB hated the sling and loved the Bjorn. We had her facing outward from 3 or 4 weeks, too--kid had mad head control skillz and fussed if she couldn't see around. But all this is YBabyMV.

I usually picked Annabel up quickly when she cried, but she didn't really cry a lot. I'm not sure what I would've done if she had. I know I went in intending to follow much more of an attachment parenting philosophy than I really did--it just didn't seem natural to who either of us were. Which is not to say I didn't pay tons of attention to AB, because I did. It just wasn't constantly-holding attention.

Mostly lurking...

Thanks for all the thoughts, guys. And brother isn't an asshat. Really. I think he's just sleep-deprived and stuff. And, he's got a point. I usually do have an opinion, and usually when I keep my mouth shut, it's for a very specific reason. So...

Anyways, it looks like I've broken my mom and dad's washing machine. I probably didn't actually break it, but it stopped working while I was using it. Ugh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Don't embalm me, that's too creepy. Or cremate me -- too creepy.

Plus, I'm sure Dallas would rather they kept you fresh.

Does anyone else have songs picked out? Or am I the only morbid one?

I think my brother wants the theme to The Wombles. "Making good use of the things that we find / Things that the everyday folks leave behind."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sure Dallas would rather they kept you fresh.

I thought it was cats that ate you and dogs just sat and waited for something to happen.

Not according to the X-Files.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Depends on how long you give them to think about it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Poor Queequeg.

I feel like someone filled my sinuses with that expandable foam insulation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought it was cats that ate you and dogs just sat and waited for something to happen.

I would guess that cats would not be interested once you stopped twitching and dogs would get more interested the stronger the carrion smell got. I haven't run an experiment or anything. But it does fit observations I have made of individuals of certain species reactions to mice.
