Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I won't know my work schedule until the week before but if I am free I am very excited about both the Rock Band party and the Museum of Jurassic Technology.

In other news. I have a headache. I consider myself pretty lucky considering how wasted I was last night. I'm afraid to sign back in to OK Cupid.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

As long as you didn't post a picture of yourself with a lampshade hat to your profile....

I don't think so. I only remember sending a sad little email to a 25 year old with the world's cutest haircut.

I'm sorry you're feeling sick, Laga. I was worried you might be after last night.

Sean,

No worries.

Also, is S okay? You're here in SF aren't you? Do you guys need anything?

I think I didn't really have that much. Sammy came home drunk and that seemed like a good idea so I made myself a big scotch on the rocks and drank it too fast. My headache is lessened since I had a Mountain Dew. And there is that slim possibility that cute haircut girl will write me back and I'll make a new friend. That's worth a headache.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Laga, can you e-mail me your cell phone number? Coordinating my time down there is going to stress me out like whoa. Mostly because I'm going to be inconveniencing people left and right.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm glad I never heard anything about Bjorns causing hip displacement, because AB hated the sling and loved the Bjorn. We had her facing outward from 3 or 4 weeks, too--kid had mad head control skillz and fussed if she couldn't see around. But all this is YBabyMV.

I usually picked Annabel up quickly when she cried, but she didn't really cry a lot. I'm not sure what I would've done if she had. I know I went in intending to follow much more of an attachment parenting philosophy than I really did--it just didn't seem natural to who either of us were. Which is not to say I didn't pay tons of attention to AB, because I did. It just wasn't constantly-holding attention.
