Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

I'm on my plane waiting for the flight to depart. Hopefullythe air is a slight bit breatheable there.

Punishingly Intricate

thanks, GC! I'll probably end up with those but I'll look around some more.

GF and I decided yesterday to go to Disneyland on Thursday (tomorrow)! We need a mental health day and where better than D'land, which is all dressed up for Halloween! We're driving down tonight and staying at the HoJos across the street so we can hit Downtown Disney tonight and get to the park first thing in the morning. I'll tell Mickey you all said hi!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Going through the xkcd comics from Teppy's link, I found this. It would explain a lot.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Having had Windows ME, I appreciate each and every joke made about it. Prior to the release of Vista, it was possibly the worst Windows OS ever.

t edit I used Windows ME for about 4 years; now I'm all Mac, all the time, so I can only comment on Vista based on the problems my co-workers' Vista machines are having (and causing for all of us).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I know this isn't the tech thread, but... was ME worse than 97? I thought ME was just 97 but with some more fixes. (I've used 95 and 97 but I managed to skip ME.)

GF had Me on her computer and hated it. And yes, it is Me (rather than ME). I was a technical editor at the time Me was out and had many a conversation with writers over that fact. It was on the MS Web site as Me ("it's for you and me, friends!"). More to hate.
