Mal: You were dead! Tracy: Hunh? Oh. Right. Suppose I was. Hey there, Zoe.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Having had Windows ME, I appreciate each and every joke made about it. Prior to the release of Vista, it was possibly the worst Windows OS ever.

OMG, windows ME was a piece of SHIT. I ended up uninstalling it and installing windows 2000

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I know this isn't the tech thread, but... was ME worse than 97? I thought ME was just 97 but with some more fixes. (I've used 95 and 97 but I managed to skip ME.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

GF had Me on her computer and hated it. And yes, it is Me (rather than ME). I was a technical editor at the time Me was out and had many a conversation with writers over that fact. It was on the MS Web site as Me ("it's for you and me, friends!"). More to hate.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Is it just me, or is People's current cover slashing Matthew McConnahae and George Clooney?

brillig

I had the exact same thought about that People cover when I saw it in the grocery store.

re: Microsoft Me--the worst thing I could hear when I was doing Microsoft tech support was "Hi, I'm running Microsoft Me with Microsoft Works Suite". Then they'd add the kicker: "I got it at Best Buy."

Shudder.
