Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I cleaned some and then went and helped Mom bake cookies for her cookie exchange at work, then we made some so I could take to work.

I've left them in the car overnight because I know if I don't I'll have a few more and I've already eat 6 today. And tomorrow Mom's brining home 8 dozen cookies. Nom nom nom.

I have no idea what we're going to do with that many cookies since no holiday parties are planned.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

For anyone who's curious, Jess made it to Cincy yesterday. (I talked to her this morning, because she needed to know where a Target is, b/c she forgot to pack a few things.)

She's close to where I am (like, 5 minutes away), but she'll be so busy that this isn't exactly F2F time, you know? I told her if she needs to be rescued (and has free time), to call me.

I'm getting the pig!

Thank you for the update, Tep. And I'm glad you're near-by just in case she should need you.

Tons of continued ~ma for Jess.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm glad to hear that, Steph.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I hope this storm stops soon. and I am glad to be in CA.

ION, my family doesn't love me anymore. I know this because I sent out an email yesterday - a long email - and no one has replied. I even linked them to my new blog. Ignored.

Ok, I am exaggerating. But my Mom complained to one sister that we ( meaning all three of us)weren't keeping in enough contact. So I've been sending newsie email - and getting almost instant replies. so 24 hours, I feel forgotten or ignored. and like they should be entertaining me.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

How was the party?

were there nipples?

The party was great. Fun conversation, meeting new folks, seeing folks I hadn't seen since last years party, and all in between. No Laga, there were no nipples, tho Ariel was getting a lil cold at one point (not that I was looking, I was keeping eye contact, I swear... well... most of the time).

The punch was yummy. As long as you drank responsibly, it was a pleasant, smooth buzz that wore off rather nicely, not lingered with throbbing or anything. And yes, it was exactly 4am when I started the car. I was shocked. Where did the time go? I guess that says how good the party was. Kudos to the Fezziwigs... er... um... ND & KT!

Now tagless for your comfort.

DebetEsse, I would have taken you up on it! But still, I wouldn't have made it home tonight.

I'm pretty comfortable at the moment and I will try to get something out of town tomorrow if I can.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

House-living advice, please? I seem to have shorted out all the lights in the living room with static electricity. By touching the wall plate. Who knew? Anyway, is this one of those "go flip the circuit breaker" things, or an "oh my god what have you done, call the electrician!" things? I want to know before I venture out into the cold and extremely windy UnderHouse to investigate these things called circuits.
