Saffron: You won't tell anyone about me breaking down? Mal: I won't. Saffron: Then I won't tell anyone how easily I got your gun out of your holster. Mal: I'll take that as a kindness.

'Trash'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Blimey, I spelled 'quintessentially' right first time.

You may have done that, but I believe you misspelled "adorable" about here:

loomy bile

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Me, I have just too much loomy bile to fully accommodate the English Apology Aesthetic.

This reminds me of nothing more than Sybil on Fawlty Towers saying "And she's always on about strange men following her. I don't know what she thinks they're going to do to her. Vomit on her, Basil says."

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Poor Pete, everyone keeps insisting on puppifying you.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It never ceases to amaze me how disfuntional large entertainment companies are.

It never ceases to amaze me how dysfunctional all large companies are. It's one of the reasons I don't believe in conspiracy theories.

Here's a t-shirt sentiment I can support: [link]

Our wings are not tired

I leave for Toronto on Sunday. They are just dealing with booking my airline ticket today. It won't be actually booked until tomorrow. They are, of course, trying to avoid having an extra night of hotel costs, but it seems to me that if they'd booked this ticket 10-12 days ago at least, they would have saved more than the cost of a single hotel room. I really don't get the logic. I've been scheduled for this trip for months.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK. I talked to my landlord. I apolgized, profusely. We're changing my rent due date from the 1st to the 10th, and she's sending me some info about setting it up so that I transfer money directly into her account, rather than having to write out and send a check.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's pretty cool, Hil. I'm glad it worked out so well. Too bad about the direct deposit.
