Kaylee: H-how did you... g-get on...? Early: Strains the mind a bit, don't it? You think you're all alone. Maybe I come down the chimney, Kaylee. Bring presents to the good girls and boys.

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Owen put the Santa hat on me and said, "Here, you're Mommy Claus."

Awwww.

he sometimes stashes emergency chocolate rations for me.

Also awwwww.

"Fairytale of New York"

I love that song.

Susan, I hope Annabel gets better soon.

Oh, {{{{{{{Nora}}}}}}} I'm so very sorry.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I need holiday music on my iPod. It is woefully deficient in that department.

And WHY is my office an arctic zone? And I'm cruising Amazon for space heaters for mom, so I feel like I should be warmer.

Art Crawl!!!

Nora - I'm so sorry for your loss.

I also love Fairytale of New York. Must bring in my cd to dl again.

Went to the doctor - I've gained ALL the weight back. At least my blood pressure was okay. Keep your fingers crossed that my blood sugar is okay. But my guess is that it will be bad.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Nora, do what you need to. Whether that involves crying or not crying. Or crying later.

Susan, hope all turns out well with Annabel. Keep us posted.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I lost 30 lbs two years ago and did a good job off keeping it off until I had my surgery last year. I have gained back 19 lbs, due to not skating and general consumption of many sugary things. Bleagh. I am determined to lose it again, as I feel better when I am lighter on my feet.

Have you started skating again?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The nurse said not to worry unless her fever goes over 102, lasts more than three days, or she starts complaining about her ears--just keep her hydrated and use ibuprofen or tylenol to keep the fever under control. Garden-variety virus, IOW. It still amazes me how relatively healthy a small child with a temperature above 100 can be. I could probably count on one hand the times I've had that bad of a fever in the past decade, and I was miserable in every case and barely missed hospitalization in the worst of the lot. Annabel is sitting on the couch with me watching Max & Ruby, and she doesn't seem quite clear on why she's not at school and I'm not at work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also love Fairytale of New York.
