No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

The nurse said not to worry unless her fever goes over 102, lasts more than three days, or she starts complaining about her ears--just keep her hydrated and use ibuprofen or tylenol to keep the fever under control. Garden-variety virus, IOW. It still amazes me how relatively healthy a small child with a temperature above 100 can be. I could probably count on one hand the times I've had that bad of a fever in the past decade, and I was miserable in every case and barely missed hospitalization in the worst of the lot. Annabel is sitting on the couch with me watching Max & Ruby, and she doesn't seem quite clear on why she's not at school and I'm not at work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also love Fairytale of New York.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

It still amazes me how relatively healthy a small child with a temperature above 100 can be.

This is probably first-time-parenting-know-nothing crap for me, but if Emeline has a cough or a sniffle I whip out the thermometer, just to be sure. Because she, too, has had boiling hot fevers and still been jumping around and lively as though everything was just skip-dandy.

I can usually deal with a fever of 100-102 myself without being too dragged out, but...with kids it's impossible to tell. Seriously.

Oh, to be that superhuman again.

I'm listening to "Fairytale of New York" right now, AIFG!

ETA: ND, are you around? Could you hop onto AIM if so?

Always Anti-fascist!

Fay, there was somebody in the Homicide book who quite literally used his last breath to say he stabbed himself shaving.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nora, so sorry.

It is one of my ringtones.

Fun! I haven't gotten into the ringtone thing. I'm not even sure how to get ringtones on my 5 yr old phone.
