My parents are without power and heat. Fuckityfuckfuck. My mom is freaking, although they did go and get kerosene for the heater yesteday, but they have an electric stove.
Mom and dad are 63 and 67, repectively, and they have my sister living with them, and I'm trying to remind myself that they have heat, about a zillion blankets and books, and a gas grill and a charcoal grill on the deck...but I am still worried about them.
About 34,000 people in their town are without power. And it's still raining, and the temperature is still dropping today.
Power-ma for my folks, please?
