We have a hearing date on Hubby's disability, Jan. 4. I don't know if it will be a formality or something that will require deliberation or a formality in the way of "You're one of those deadbeats trying to suck a living off of society, aren't you, get out of here, loser" things.
Still, we're dealing with one of those lawyers who don't get paid unless they win--which I despise myself for--but sometimes you need a vulture on your side.
I think there are ways that it's like every family's Christmas.
I'm also a big Robert Earl Keen fan, although in the 8 or 9 times I've seen him live I think I've heard my life quota of "Five Pound Bass" and "Barbecue".
Dammit, neither 1 or 2 are in my size. I think Imma go with this [link] and these [link]
those shoes are fabulous and I love the way the dress looks in the back.
Nice choice
I should have known that lots of people would be carol of the bells fans
They are amazing shoes. I couldn't walk two steps in them, myself, but I can admire those who can.
I hope it goes well, Connie.
I wear heels all the time, and I'll likely be sitting most of the night. I'll either get the one stool left at the bar, or be sitting by the door. If I'm lucky, I'll have enough friends there that I won't feel crappy about snagging a table.
Then, at midnight, I get to fight the crowd looking at me like I'm an entitled bitch for cutting to the front of the line so I can snag a midnight kiss from Mr. Jane. Ah, New Years!
Best of luck to you and your hubs, connie.
Eh, threw in this one too since it's only $20 [link]
Good luck, connie.
Oh, good choices, Daisy. Sparkly like a holiday.
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Older melody.
There are so many crappy modern hymns. I like it when they're written by, oh,
Longfellow...
