Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I like Dress #2. It's a great color.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'll second dress #2 and nominate shoes #4 to go with.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

In order of my preference: 4, 1, 3, 2

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oooh, what about #2 in teal? [link] I love teal on me, and I'm a little afraid of the rust clashing with my hair.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I really like #1 too. It seems sort of classicly NYE.

Shopping is much more fun online if you have girlfriends to help you.

I like the teal and it would still be pretty with the silver shoes.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

"Merry Christmas from the Family"

Certainly my favorite funny Christmas song, although I have a weird soft spot for "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer."

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think of it as sentimental rather than funny, but that's cause those people are my people.

#1 is closest to what I would picture if I just thought "Daisy Jane dress". I only put it second because that somehow translated into me thinking you had a bunch of dresses like that already. I don't know why, I don't know your wardrobe.

brillig

We have a hearing date on Hubby's disability, Jan. 4. I don't know if it will be a formality or something that will require deliberation or a formality in the way of "You're one of those deadbeats trying to suck a living off of society, aren't you, get out of here, loser" things.

Still, we're dealing with one of those lawyers who don't get paid unless they win--which I despise myself for--but sometimes you need a vulture on your side.
