I have a very silly hat. It's green and red with a curly elfin peak and multiple dangly jingle-balls. It's fun to read people's reactions, or lack thereof. I think I almost made an emo kid decide not to go to the movies afterall.
Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm on the train heading home. They didn't finish jury selection so I have to go back tomorrow. I am currently in seat 7.
Crap. Okay. I finish tutoring around 6:45, so I'll be home around 8. I'm sure you're starving, so don't wait for me. I'll grab something on the way home.
I don't really get doing Carol of the Bells a capela. I mean, it is the Carol of the *Bells*. Is still my favorite-est carol ever, especially when bells are involved :)
Well, given the choice between a capella and piano, I'll take no piano. Often bells are not an option.
if its not an option, I'm thinking your option is sing another song. I agree, it's Carol of the **BELLS**.

I have many many favorites, but a bell filled fav is the Mannheim Steamroller version [link]
My family tolerates me playing a dozen varieties looping, while I sing or make various belly (ding dong, not tummy) noises. It does help get me in the spirit. This is limited to decorating, wrapping, or meal preparing times during this season. If I did it more often they would protest.
Carol of the Bells is the one my sister and I usually end up randomly singing when we get together around this time of year. When we were in chorus in school, she was alto and I was soprano, so that gives us two parts of the harmony, which works out OK.
Kristin, if you see this, I'm home now, but I haven't eaten and would be willing to wait for you to get home to eat.
I LOVE Carol of the Bells a cappella. With good clean harmonies, the bells ARE there, in an onomatopoeic sense. I also love to sing it. The tenor part is way fun.
My favorite christmas songs are all depressing minor key songs, though. "I Wonder as I Wander" "Lullay Thou Little Tiny Child," and "Lo! How a Rose E'er Blooming" stick out.
