Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

what I ended up saying was, "I think [sister-in-law and brother] should feel free to invite whoever they want to their home. Is it OK if I bring o_u?"

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

background: Boss walks in asking if I had a source for those lil ear bud foam covers (like the ones that keep falling off your iPod headphones). The hearing assist system at his church is running low, so he wants to order a bulk of them.

So I troll around the internet to find a source in bulk. And I send him an e-mail with a couple links. The subject of the e-mail: Foamy thingies (not to be confused with Beer)

somehow, I don't think he'll get the joke.

Paging Mr. Noise Design, Mr. Design, paging:

Any word on your jury situation? Did you escape? I left my cell at home, so leave me a message here or drop me an email when you get a chance.

Thrive to spite them

Dad emailed me to let me know that the place my aunt works is hiring a receptionist. I don't know how much it would pay, but it would be 35 hrs/wk and after probation they'd pay completely for health insurance, long and short term disability, 3% contribution to 401 K, sick and personal leave and paid holidays.

It's a relatively small office from what my aunt has talked about, she would not be my supervisor and I think I'm going to apply for it. Plus it's about 10 minutes from my house.

Although it might be weird working with my aunt.

Right now I'm exhausted, not getting alot of sleep the past 3 days. I took my medicine early and I'm heading off to bed. I've barely studied but I can't even remember what I studied.

Oh, and my 19 year old second cousin is getting married in March. She met a young man, a music pastor from Texas on a mission trip to Jamaica this summer and fell in love. I think he belongs to her uncle's church. Anyway they are getting married in March and she's getting heat from someone (I'm not sure, I've just read this on her myspace page). He's 24. I sent her an encouraging email because I think she's a very smart young woman and makes good decisions and I think because of things that aren't under her control people in the family have kind of underestimated her.

I have a very silly hat. It's green and red with a curly elfin peak and multiple dangly jingle-balls. It's fun to read people's reactions, or lack thereof. I think I almost made an emo kid decide not to go to the movies afterall.

Our wings are not tired

I'm on the train heading home. They didn't finish jury selection so I have to go back tomorrow. I am currently in seat 7.

Crap. Okay. I finish tutoring around 6:45, so I'll be home around 8. I'm sure you're starving, so don't wait for me. I'll grab something on the way home.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I don't really get doing Carol of the Bells a capela. I mean, it is the Carol of the *Bells*. Is still my favorite-est carol ever, especially when bells are involved :)
