Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What's up with the drunken bug, vw?

A few too many mimosas. I have a feeling this will be my Sunday ritual for a while.

I take it you were at a tree-trimming party.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Timelies!

Today I participated in my first race. I still think people who run for fun are crazy, but I averaged my 6.2 miles at 12.5 minutes/mile (close to 78 minutes). My personal goals were to finish the race, hopefully under 90 minutes, and hopefully not to be last. So go me! I am a wee disappointed because I've been able to do better during training, but I have to remember that I've only been training for 6 weeks.

Now I am very sore. Also, I need to find more races to keep me motivated. Because running sucks! And yet I have to be able to run for the triathlon I signed up for!

not your mom's socks.

Waves swiss cowbells and 'go D!' banners. You did awesomely!

I wish we weren't all completely filled with the pre-school cold miasma. Because then I could ring the cowbells without scrunching my eyes.

And I have now worked at some point during the day for twenty-one days straight. This is not a personal goal.

eta: sparky reports that there is cute and puppy in her house. and that the puppy trips over the cute quite frequently.

Was it here, that we were talking about pharma sales reps? From teh WashPost:

"The industry actually spends an average of $25 billion a year on marketing, and 60 percent of that is for pharmaceutical samples, Powell said. Last year, it also spent $55.2 billion on research and development of new medicines, she said."

it also spent

did they mean to type: here is Horse, following Cart ? Financially, I guess the numbers indicate that development has a lead on marketing, but the sentence structure gives one's head a good turn.

Thanks meara...
