Bad news: The library has a major leak happening and we all just spent an hour moving books out of the way. I'm referring to that corner as the "rainforest" because of the steady drip-drip-drip.
Good news: I came back to my desk to find out that we have been approved for a PUPPY! She's a 7 week old beagle and I'm going to be ded of the cute.

OK, well, the Dalek was not foiled for long- it commanded "ELEVATE!" and floated up and proceeded to kill lots of people. Due to Rose stopping and watching said killings instead of RUNNING, she got trapped with the Dalek in the lockdown. The Dalek wanted to kill her, but couldn't because her DNA was part of him now, and he was contaminated...
There was some running, and yelling, but at the end, the Doctor was going to kill the Dalek, but Rose wouldn't let him. The Dalek ordered Rose to command him to die, and after a bit of back and forth, she did. So it died.
Oh, also, the gazillionaire who was responsible for all that got memory wiped by that kick ass blond lady in glasses and got dumped somewhere that began with M. Oh, also, Adam joined the Dr. and Rose in the TARDIS.
The Dalek ordered Rose to command him to die, and after a bit of back and forth, she did. So it died.
also an interesting moment when the Dalek opened itself so that we could see inside. There was a life form inside that controlled it, looked like a fetus with an adult face and tentacles.

Plumbing is almost done, woo! There is a test load a-drying in the dryer, and I shall soon have a wider pipe and actual trap on my washer drain. Exciting!
