I am *so* jealous of you people with snow. I am so in the wrong climate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Am at work.
Feel like ass.
Tummy hates me.
Send rescue.
Sent an email to my boss feeling her out about working from home today (which I already did yesterday) but it was quickly followed by emails from two colleagues announcing that they were WFH, so I guess I have to suck it up and go in. (See what I get for asking?)
Because, in actuality, we got maybe 1 inch overnight.
Let it snow! I hope you are enjoying having The Boy to snuggle with on cold nights.

I also meant WooHoos for Aimee yesterday.
I haven't looked outside yet, so I don't know if there's snow. I don't have to be anywhere until 1 pm, although I do need to get my oil changed. Which may or may not happen today. Again.
All my Bitches need to be allowed to go home/stay home and go back to bed if they wish.
I will write you a note. Now, get in line for your notes.
Ok - school. Yay I'm going. But now the question becomes "where?"
Like I said, I just got notification that my student loans were transferred to the community college from U of P. This morning, my financial advisor from U of P emailed me:
Hi Aimee
There is a temporary promotion going on right now where students who received an F grade between October and now can get it written off if they come back in December. Anyway, I asked my manager (correspondence below) to make an exception and let you retake the failed classes from May so as to continue. She said I can do this as long as you retake the failed block in December.
Please call me so that we can get you back into school! :)

Hi Boss
This student was cruising along with her classes and completed an entire academic year but then failed a block. She disputed the grades but lost the dispute, she got denied for alt loans... I'd like to give her the WO for retention but the general rule is that anyone who failed by October is elligible but she failed back in May. She hadn't been sent to collections yet cause of the lenghty grade dispute process. She's on the verge of being sent to collections but she's a good student. I'd like to offer her a chance to get back in. May I?

Advisor -
Go ahead and offer it but only if she starts back to class in the month of Dec.

Obviously they noticed that your money was out of their coffers.
They suck- because if you don't go back with them they'll put you into collections, am I reading that right?
Ugh.
"But it's a perfec' day, Momma!"
I love this.
Atlanta closes schools at the vaguest hint of a snowflake, and probably will as long as anyone remembers Snow Jam in '82. One of Atlanta's heavier snowfalls came almost without warning in the middle of the day, and children were trapped in buses in freezing temperatures for hours.

Yup. Perzactly.
So obviously it's a better financial decision to go with U of P and retake the classes and pass them (specially since with the math I already have thr work done. Provided they haven't changed it. Crap.) and then transfer or take some summer classes.
I guess that for the first time in ... ever I was looking forward to being IN a classroom.
Sigh.
