Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hope you can get some more sleep, vw.

Jars, sorry about the sucky morning.

Does anyone know how to disarm a car alarm? I can't get the little remote to work. I can't remember if it is set or not, but I'm afraid to find out.

Woo! I love a brief cold snap. I'll wear a sweater! Well, layers because it will still be near 80 later.

Ha! I'm still enjoying the pretty snow up here. We got a fresh inch or two last night. It's a balmy 12 degrees this morning. Coffee's on and I really hope my LL Bean order gets delievered today. It has slippers in it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have Snow. Emeline still loves it and doesn't quite understand why Mommy and Daddy grumble and bitch. "But it's a perfec' day, Momma!" she yells at us.

Things to buy:
*Snow/Ice Scraper
*Snow boots for me
*Snow boots for Em (see Susan? You Are Not Alone)
*Hat for me
*Windsheild wiper fluid

I'm in a coffeeshop. I was going to take the bus to the airport, but now I'm wondering if I should metro to the end of the line and take that bus, just in case traffic is ridiculous. Whcih is STUPID because there is next to no snow (it's not sticking), but....this IS DC....

No advice on the car alarm? I'm afraid to go outside and deal with it.

Aimee, when Christopher was out buying his snowblower, he brought home a long-handled, deluxe snow scraper for me and some Rain-X de-icer. Along with THREE gallons of windshield wiper fluid (I tend to use A LOT of it during the winter).

sj, never had a car alarm, so I'm unsure. Does your fob need a new battery?

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Since last night they've been forecasting morning snow changing to afternoon rain with 1 to 3 inch accumulation. At the time I got up this morning, no snow yet but a near-certainty of that forecast happening. So what did they do? Delayed school by 2 hours. So on a normal day, school would have started about half an hour ago -- at which time there still wasn't any snow.

It started snowing about twenty minutes ago, and there should be a good solid coating on the roads by the time everyone heads to school.

While you're there can you return the curved shower curtain bar I bought that was too long for our shower?

I need to pick up lettuce if we're going to have tacos for dinner tonight.

My life is composed of the mundane.
